How Simrix Monitor works

Simrix Monitor runs scheduled browser checks on your sites and alerts you when something fails or changes. Here's how to get started.

Getting started

Add a site

Connect the website you want to monitor. Give it a name, base URL, notification email, and timezone.

Create a monitor

Choose a monitor type — workflow checks (login, checkout, forms) or visual change detection on any page section.

Review runs

Inspect execution history, screenshots, AI summaries, and detected changes from the Runs and Alerts pages.

Monitor types

Page check

Verify a page loads successfully and returns the expected HTTP status.

Form check

Fill out and submit a form flow — login, signup, checkout — and confirm each step succeeds.

Click check

Simulate a click journey through your site and assert on the final result.

Change monitor

Select any region of a page visually. Simrix tracks text and visual changes in that region over time.

Scheduling and alerts

Each monitor runs on a schedule you set — from every 30 minutes on the Starter plan down to every 1 minute on Agency. When a monitor fails or detects a change, Simrix sends an email alert with a screenshot, AI summary, and a link to the full run details.

Change monitors capture a baseline on their first run. Every subsequent run compares the current page state against that baseline using both text and pixel-level visual comparison.

Recovery alerts are sent automatically when a previously failing monitor passes again.
