Free Checkout Health Check

Give us your store address and we walk the path a shopper takes: open your homepage, find and open a product page, click add to cart, then load the cart. You get a screenshot of every step and a plain-English note on anything that did not work. No account, no card, and nothing to install.

Loading the check form...

What does the free check actually do?

It drives a real browser, the same way a shopper's would behave, and photographs each step:

Step What we confirm
Homepage loads Your home page answers and renders
A product page opens We find a product link, on the homepage or behind your Shop and category links, and it loads
Add to cart works We find the add-to-cart control and click it, choosing a size or colour first when the product needs one
Cart or checkout loads A cart page loads and shows cart contents

Each step is reported on its own. We look for a product on your homepage, behind your Shop link, in your categories and in your sitemap. If we still cannot find one, we say where we looked, rather than calling the step a pass.

What does it not do?

It does not sign in, does not enter card details and does not place an order. There is nowhere for it to store credentials, and it stops at the cart.

When a product needs a size, colour or quantity before add to cart, it chooses the first one available, as a shopper would. One thing stops it that never stops a shopper: bot protection that turns automated browsers away (Cloudflare and similar). When that stops it, or a page will not take the choice it made, the result says so and marks the step as not checked, rather than reporting a problem with your store.

It is also one check, at one moment. A store that works right now can break an hour later after a theme update or a plugin change, which is the reason the paid product exists.

How long does it take?

A few minutes, usually. Checks run one at a time so we do not hammer anyone's store, so at a busy moment you may wait in a short queue. The results page updates itself while it waits, and the same link is emailed to you.

What happens to my store address and email?

The address is used to run the check. The email is used once, to send you the results link. Both are deleted after seven days, along with the screenshots.

We do not add you to a mailing list. If you start a trial from your results, you enter the normal signup flow like anyone else; if you do not, you never hear from us again.

What if it finds a problem?

You get the screenshot of the step that failed and a plain-English summary of what went wrong. That is the same evidence a paid monitor sends, except a paid monitor keeps checking on a schedule and tells you the moment it changes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. The free check needs a store address and an email to send the results to. There is no signup, no password and no card.

Will running this affect my store?

It is one visit from one browser, the same load as one shopper looking at a product. It adds an item to a cart in its own session, which is discarded when the check finishes. No order is placed.

Does it respect robots.txt?

Yes. We read your robots.txt first and stop without checking if it asks automated visitors to stay away from that page.

How many free checks can I run?

Three a day per email address. After that, a trial gives you the same journey on a schedule, with alerts when it changes.

What if you cannot find a product page?

We tell you, and we say where we looked: the homepage, the shop page, the category pages we opened and the sitemap. The homepage result still stands, and the product step is reported as skipped with the reason, never as a pass. A store that turns automated visitors away with bot protection is reported as that, because it is not a problem your shoppers have. You can also paste the address of one of your product pages instead of your homepage. The check starts from there, and a page only counts as a product page when it describes itself as one.

How is this different from an uptime monitor?

An uptime monitor asks whether the page responds. This clicks the button. A store whose add-to-cart is broken answers every uptime check perfectly while taking no orders at all.
