MonitorBot

The in-app assistant that answers questions about your monitors and can open a support ticket for you.

MonitorBot is the chat button at the bottom-right of every page once you're signed in. Ask it anything about Simrix Monitor or about your own monitors.

What it knows

  • This documentation — how features work, where settings are, what a failure message means.
  • Your workspace — your sites, monitors, their schedules and last status, and recent runs including failure details. If you open it from a run or monitor page, it knows which one you're looking at.

That's why "why did my last run fail?" gets a specific answer rather than a generic one.

What it can't do

MonitorBot is read-only. It can't create, edit, pause, or run monitors, change billing, or invite people — it will tell you where to do those things instead. It never sees your card details or API keys.

Good questions to ask

  • Why did my last run fail?
  • What changed on the pricing page?
  • How do I set up a change monitor for a region of the page?
  • My selector keeps failing — help
  • How many runs have I used this month?
  • What's the difference between the Fast and Focused presets?

Getting a human

If MonitorBot can't solve it, say so — "I need a person" or "open a ticket" — and it will offer a Create support ticket button. The ticket includes the whole conversation so you don't have to repeat yourself, and you can follow it under Account → Support. See Support.

Limits

MonitorBot answers a limited number of questions per workspace per hour to keep costs sane. If it says it's rate-limited, wait a little or open a ticket directly.
