Text message notifications

Text messages go only to members of our own team who administer the Service and have opted in from the admin area. Customers never receive text messages from us, and we send no marketing by text message.

An administrator signs in, opens Admin, then Notifications, enters a mobile number and ticks the box labelled "Receive system notifications and alerts by text message". The box sits directly above this consent wording, with links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service beneath it, and ticking it records the date and time, the number and the wording agreed to:

By checking this box, you agree to receive automated text messages from Simrix Monitor about system notifications and alerts at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Each message is one line about something that needs an operator's attention: a new customer registration, a new order or a first payment, and every message ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." For example: "Simrix Monitor: new order. A customer paid for Growth, billed monthly. Reply STOP to opt out." Message frequency varies; a message is sent only when something happens, typically a few a week.

When an administrator opts in, one confirmation text is sent to the number: "Simrix Monitor: you now receive system notifications and alerts by text. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Untick the box on the same page and save, or reply STOP to any message. Either records an opt-out and no further messages are sent to that number. Reply START to resume, or HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].

Our Privacy Policy, at https://simrixmonitor.com/privacy, is the single privacy policy that applies to this program. It states what we collect for the program and how we use it, and that we do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider, Twilio, receives the number only to deliver each message.
